We sat down next to each other, but David wouldn’t look at me. I patted him to get his attention. I tried to persuade him that just being afraid of being laughed at was no reason to give up. He seemed to be a little bit surprised but he thought for a while and accepted my advice to take part in the running. I felt some kind of relief and convinced him of his capability to fulfill this ambition since he had had sufficient practice and strong determination. Then the running was about to begin.
I watched as David moved up to the starting line with the other runners. He looked back at me and I signaled to him with a thumbs up, feeling proud of him. He smiled,took a deep breath and got ready for the race. When the running began, he ran with all his strength, is spite of his abnormal steps. Eventually, he finished the running. Nearly out of breath, he walked to me and then gave me a hug. “Thank you!” he uttered, “Without you, I would never taste such sense of achievement of challenging myself. “

No sooner had the starter’s gun shot, David tottered forward with the other kids. Other children rushed forward like an arrow, and David tried his best to keep up with them. But minutes later, the other children disappeared, running through the thick forest. David seemed a little worried. “Come on David! We believe you can do it!” the audience cheered for him. David kept his pace, continuing his running. About 15 minutes later ,the first runners finished the 3000 kilometers race one by one, but I couldn’t see David . 论述:20世纪以来人类历史经历了毁灭性的打击,而且仍然面临着很多问题。20世纪上半叶两次世界大战造成了人口的大量死亡,使世界经济遭到重创,给人类带来了深重的灾难和巨大的破坏。1929年爆发了资本主义世界经济危机,经济萧条,大量人口失业,生活贫困;二战后,和平与发展仍受到各种因素的威胁,古巴导弹危机一度使人类面临着核战争的毁灭性打击,一些局部的冲突造成了人道主义灾难,生态环境的破坏以及传染病的流行也威胁着人类的健康与发展。

20世纪以来的历史又是一个新生的世界。十月革命后苏俄建成了人类历史上第一个社会主义国家,开创了人类历史的新纪元;新中国成立后逐步探索出一条中国特色的社会主义道路,为人类文明发展开辟了一条新道路;二战后资本主义世界殖民体系崩溃,推动了新的国际秩序的形成;以信息技术和人工智能为代表的科技革命改变了人类的生产方式和生活方式,人类进入一个全新的“信息时代”;二战后经济全球化迅猛发展,各地之间的联系空前加强,新的世界经济体系形成并不断发展。

总之,进入20世纪以来,人类历史既遭受了许多灾难和破坏,也有很多发展和进步,取得了巨大的成就。当下需要全球加强合作,共同维护世界和平,推动世界发展。

异:1898年科举改革由光绪帝主动推行;主要改革文科举,改变以往专门考查四书五经的考试内容,增加了对时务和策论的考查力度,每考一场发榜一次。改革被戊戌政变打断没有真正实施。

1901年的科举改革是清政府不得已进行的,废除了武举,在文科举考试中重点考查时务和策论,不再有对四书五经的专门考查,而且三场都考完后再发榜。为1905年彻底废除科举制奠定了基础。
